If there's one gang I want to be a part of, it's Alessandro Michele's new era Gucci gang.
Since his debut, Michele has single handedly transformed Gucci from a once Kardashian-fave, provocative brand to a majorly androgynous, trend setting leader. All that springs to mind when I think of Gucci pre-Michele is the purple and orange colour blocking, satin two-piece worn by Kim Kardashian - miles apart from what we are now seeing on the runway. And I feel this transformation has been extremely positive and has taken social media by storm, with many Instagram accounts squaready-ing everything from the floral trouser suits to the yearbook style model line-up. What I love about this collection is the strong 70's aesthetic, romantic patterns, two pieces and the fact it could be worn by both boys and girls, who says boys can't wear pink lace shorts? No one. As we go into spring I can see my wardrobe already transitioning into a Gucci-like 70's dream with flares, pussybows and square framed sunglasses and there is nothing I am going to do to stop it.
